The Most Important Functions Technical Designs and Statistical Methods Research Group

To conduct the research projects aiming at reviewing and presenting some practical methods to reduce sampling and non-sampling errors in the statistical surveys in particular, and to provide procedures for increasing the productivity of the statistical projects in general
To review the modern statistical methods
To give the necessary recommendations and guidelines in the area of the statistical projects to different organizations in the country
To have consultations and exchange experiences with the universities, research centers, societies, and scientific personalities
To design surveys to produce the most recent statistics required for the planning and decision-making system
To analyze the statistics produced in order to introduce ways to make a proper use of them
To study procedures for enhancing the statistical knowledge and culture in the society
