Major Functions:
- To carry out the research projects on areas dealing with the economic challenges
- To study and present the appropriate models for estimation of the data required in sectors where there is no specific framework to conduct a survey or conduct of a survey seems to be noneconomical
- To study and provide the appropriate procedures to calculate and to prepare the adjusting indices required for converting economic quantities from the current price into the constant price
- To study the international recommendations in areas related to the National Accounts and correspond them with the country’s conditions
- To cooperate with the Statistical Center of Iran in the National Accounts Projects
